The Festival partners with schools and community groups throughout the year to deliver customized filmmaking workshops to Regent Park youth and residents. Our workshop facilitators work with participants to enhance their media literacy and production skills and offer new creative ways of self-expression through film. The resulting films are featured at the annual Regent Park Film Festival.

Past workshops include an animation workshop with Pathways to Education, a March Break filmmaking workshop with the Yonge Street Mission and an art documentary workshop with Luminato, documenting their project “The Encampment,” commemorating the War of 1812.
