As an intern what will I get to do?
There are three internship opportunities available through Live It To Learn It that fall into two streams.
One intern will spend two weeks on the set of Kim’s Convenience, shadowing all aspects of production and post-production on the TV show. This is an ideal opportunity to gain exposure to the many roles and responsibilities that exist behind the camera, and are critical to producing a successful TV show. Dates: Friday June 15 – Thursday June 28.
Two interns will spend two weeks each with Sim learning about the incredibly important role supply houses play in the industry and will spend the final month as Production Assistant one of Shaftesbury shows currently in production. Interns will receive set etiquette and WHIMIS training from NABET 700-M UNIFOR, a leading union for Film and Television and new media technicians. Dates: Monday, June 25th – Friday, August 17, 2018.
Participants from both streams receive training and certification from NABET 700-M UNIFOR
