Uzoma and his friends are on the cusp of adulthood and looking for direction in their lives. Before the young artists head off to college, they embark on a roller coaster ride of self-discovery as they make a movie together.
Abba Makama was born in Jos, Nigeria and is a visual artist, actor and award-winning filmmaker known for Visions (2017), Green White Green (2016) and The Lost Okoroshi (2019). Both Green White Green and The Lost Okoroshi have premiered at TIFF to critical acclaim.
Regent Park Catering Collective is a social enterprise of the Toronto Centre of Learning & Development that serves as a valuable platform to create jobs locally and help residents and newcomers thrive. The Regent Park Catering Collective comes together to create exciting dishes that are a fusion of our members’ heritages.
Regent Park Focus is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to best practices in training and mentorship of youth and Regent Park community members in radio broadcasting, television broadcasting and digital arts. Regent Park Focus empowers marginalized individuals and under-represented communities to have a voice, through the use of professional training, mentorships and participatory based media practices that enable the sharing of stories, experiences and perspectives on relevant matters and issues.
