A young boy named Kun feels forgotten by his family when his little sister Mirai is born. Running away from home, Kun stumbles upon a magical garden that serves as a time-travelling gateway where he encounters his mother as a little girl and has a series of adventures with his baby sister, who is all grown up.
Mamoru Hosoda is a Japanese film director, animator and founder of the animation studio, Studio Chizu. He first came to public attention in the early 2000s with the first two films in the Digimon Adventure series and the sixth film in the One Piece series. His other feature films include The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, and Wolf Children.
DAREarts provides arts programming to empower leadership development in children and youth from underserved communities. By exploring a multitude of artistic disciplines paired with a leadership development curriculum, students explore who they are, creatively express themselves, build confidence and become leaders that create positive change in their lives and in the lives of others.
Regent Park Social is a project by Vision of Tomorrow and the SDP Communications Table. Regent Park Social aims to inform and connect Regent Park, by housing information about the neighbourhood events in one place, so that the community can focus on the moments that really matter.
